They give everyone a clear understanding that this is what you can do, this is what you can\u2019t do, and this is best practice.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n THE RESULTS<\/strong> \u201cThe process of implementing ISO 27001<\/a> was much easier than we expected, and as a result<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div> of having the management system we feel we are much better off as a company.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Gary commented on how implementing the Information Security Management Standard has benefitted the business;<\/p>\n \u201cInternally it\u2019s enabled us to formalise our processes. We\u2019re an IT company, so we take information security very seriously – but previously a lot of what we were doing wasn\u2019t as formalised as it could have been.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n He continued by outlining how ISO 27001 is now used to develop their existing staff to ensure they all operate at the same level. It also plays a big part in the recruitment and staff training processes;<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re getting better and better at what we do.
